Our Core Values
At Eminence of Grace Church, our beliefs are rooted in the Word of God and centered on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. These truths guide our faith, inform our decisions, and shape the way we live as followers of Christ.
The Lordship of Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the head of the Church and Lord over every area of life. We seek to submit to His will in all we do, allowing Him to guide our steps and transform our hearts
Honoring Diversity
We celebrate the richness of God’s creation by embracing people of every background, culture, and walk of life. Unity in diversity reflects the beauty of the body of Christ.
Shared Leadership
We believe leadership is a shared responsibility, built on trust, accountability, and mutual service. Every member is gifted and called to play a vital role in the life of the church.
Being One Church
No matter where we gather or how we serve, we are united as one body in Christ — working together in love and faith to fulfill God's purpose.
A Holistic Ministry
We are called to minister to the whole person — spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially. Our goal is to bring healing, wholeness, and hope through the love of Christ.
Discerning the Mind of Christ
Through prayer, Scripture, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we seek to know the heart of Christ and align our decisions with His truth and wisdom.
Our Story
Eminence of Grace Church was birthed from a divine calling rooted in a journey marked by both hardship and hope. The vision began decades ago in Nigeria, where our founding pastor, Pastor Joe, was born into poverty and a broken home. Separated from his biological parents at a young age, he and his sister were the only surviving children in their family, as their other siblings tragically passed away in infancy.
Though God placed a call on Pastor Joe’s life early on, his path was far from straightforward. Life brought numerous challenges—broken relationships, a bold migration to the United States in pursuit of better opportunities, and the pressing need to focus on career and survival. Yet through it all, the flame of God’s calling never dimmed. It continued to burn deeply within him, compelling him to minister wherever he found himself.
The streets of New York City became his first mission field. With subway trains and city buses as his pulpit, Pastor Joe boldly shared the gospel, prayed for strangers, and witnessed firsthand the power of God through healing, deliverance, and salvation. These spontaneous moments led to many powerful testimonies—though most were undocumented, they left a lasting spiritual impact on countless lives. Repeatedly, people touched by his ministry would ask, “Where is your church?”
These persistent questions revealed a deeper need—a spiritual home for the souls won through his street ministry. In response, Pastor Joe embraced the challenge to create a place where people could grow, connect, and be discipled. This desire to provide follow-up, accountability, and community became the foundation of Eminence of Grace Church.
Eventually, Pastor Joe made the pivotal decision to leave a successful corporate career with an American company, fully dedicating his life to the call of ministry. Today, Eminence of Grace Church stands as a testament to obedience, resilience, and God’s faithfulness—a sanctuary where lives are transformed, and the grace of God reigns supreme.
